Mentor a Leadership Alliance on Campus

  • Share experience and knowledge as a Mentor
  • Strengthen diversity of the group by identifying students for participation in the program
  • Encourage students to become leaders by establishing course credit for projects within the Leadership Alliance
  • Strengthen the long term effectiveness of the Leadership Alliance on campus by advising student leaders on events, actions, and meetings
  • Build a campus-wide feminist community by helping students work in coalition with various campus groups and departments

Do I have to attend every meeting?
You can choose to attend meetings based on your schedule. You are a part of a Team of several faculty and others may have more time and be able to attend.

What kind of time committment do I have to make?
From attending weekly meetings to simply offering extra credit for attendance to events or lectures, you decide your level of involvement based on your schedule and availability. THERE ARE NO COSTS OR MANDATORY TIME COMMITMENTS INVOLVED, JUST A DESIRE TO PROMOTE A FEMINIST PRESENCE ON YOUR CAMPUS.
