Feminist Job Description

Job Title: Researcher, Counselors
Organization: Start A Pro-Choice Pregnancy Resource Center
Region: DC Metro Region
Description: Researcher, Counselors - Will Train

Pregnancy Resource Centers are essential hubs. People need non-judgmental, caring, informative counseling services.

The name Crisis Pregnancy Center suggests options, but is cover for an anti-choice pressurized environment. CPC do often have great networks for child-care, low cost housing, etc. that women who choose to keep the pregnancy need. Let's offer these same services without the judgment.

We will provide information, counseling, networking, resources and a safe space, without pressuring the women with an agenda.

I am based in Northern California - Sacramento/SF - but would like to get a group together and open up shop in North Carolina, Georgia or the Dakotas.

All skill levels and experiences welcomed. The position is volunteer as we procure funding. Please contact, even if the closing date has passed.

Looking forward to standing up for choice, and returning the full spectrum of choice - abortion alternatives and abortion - to a pro-choice environment.
