Job Title: Meter Reader - Temporary 10278
Organization: Pepco Holdings, Inc.
Region: DC Metro Region
Description: Description: Required:
- Ability and willingness to perform both indoor and outdoor tasks for extended periods of time (for example, opening doors, climbing stairs, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, pulling/pushing, standing, walking, and squatting).
- Ability and willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability and willingness to wear and use safety equipment as required by federal, state, local and company regulations (for example, uniform, safety glasses, hard hat).
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, shifts, holiday, and weekends as needed.
- Ability and willingness to travel to various company locations and customer homes.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must successfully pass qualification test.
- Must successfully pass a Criminal History Records Check.

Preferred:
- Experience demonstrating skill reporting complaints and/or inquiries to appropriate individuals.
- Experience demonstrating skill reading electric and gas metering devices.
- Experience demonstrating skill reading and interpreting local area maps in order to travel to various company locations and customer homes.
- Experience demonstrating skill promoting good public relations.
- Experience demonstrating skill monitoring and recording data using hand held computers (that is, data caps).
