Take Action Today!

The battle for equality never takes a day off. Here are some issues that demand your ongoing attention. Please take action on as many issues as you can!

Expose Fake Clinics and End Deceptive Advertising Practices

• Create educational flyers and posters identifying comprehensive women’s health clinics and warning students about fake clinics in your area. You can go to optionline.org or lifecall.org to find fake clinics near your campus! Note: These are anti-choice websites with locations of CPCs.
  
• Talk to your Campus Health Center about their referral policy for students facing unintended pregnancies. If they refer students to a fake clinic, get them to stop or demand truth in advertising, disclosing that CPCs do not provide abortion or birth control.
• Sign our online petition or circulate petitions to stop all federal funding for fake clinics and demand truth in their advertising practices.
• Host a screening of FMF’s two YouTube features, “Crisis of Deception: Fake Clinics Spread Misinformation on the Federal Dime” and, “Crisis Pregnancy Centers: Nothing but False Promises and Misinformation”.
• Stage a protest outside of your nearest fake women’s health clinic, warning women about the deceptive practices of crisis pregnancy centers.

Increase Birth Control Access On Campus

• We are urging campus groups and/or individuals to find out what birth control costs on your campus. If the costs are prohibitive, arrange to meet with your health center and tell them about the recent changes to contraception pricing policy passed by Congress.
• If your campus health center has not lowered birth control prices, use this petition to mobilize students and demand affordable contraception.
• Urge your health center to offer emergency contraception, as well. Demand comprehensive women's healthcare on your campus.

Demand an End to Child Marriage

• Take action today to stop child marriages! In several countries across the world, including India, Niger, and Uganda, more than half of girls are married before they turn 18. Girls as young as 7 or 8 are forced into marriage, and pressured to give birth before their bodies are ready. Demand your legislators take action to prevent child marriage.
